Storage Ring EDM Collaboration Meetings
Collaboration meetings are held regularly, mostly at Brookhaven
National Laboratory. Presentations from IUCF are given below:
- We had a meeting right after the run at COSY in June 2009, a run summary was given.
- We presented in November 2008 results of the Polarimeter Studies, performed during the run in September at COSY.
- During the meeting in June 2008, a summary of the first run at COSY was discussed.
- We learned about Systematic Errors of the polarimeter in March 08.
- A Table shows.
- See plans for the Polarimeter Development in January 2008.
- The Status of the polarimeter plan was shown in September 2007.
- Polarimeter plans at COSY were presented in June 2007.
- The Polarimeter R&D plans were discussed in March 2007.
- In April 2006, an overview about Deuteron polarimetry between 1 and 1.5 GeV/c was presented.
- A Polarimeter Plan was presented in November 2006.
- Progress in modeling the polarimeter, Dezember 2005.
- The Baryshevsky problem: What would we predict?
- In October, 2005, we traveled to Frascati to discuss the
storage ring concept. I gave a
Workshop Talk and also a
Collaboration Meeting Talk .
- In May, 2005 we visited the KVI.
- January 28, 2005, a review
of rainbow scattering for deuterons and the implications for the measurement of deuteron and proton polarization.
- November 16, 2004, the talk given
to the NSF Site Visit Team reviewing the 3-year proposal for continuation of the NSF grant.
- November 5, 2004, a review
of the run at the KVI to look at the cross section and analyzing power for deuteron-induced reactions on carbon.
- February 20-21, 2004
a review of the plans for the KVI run, samples of the kind of data needed, setup possibilities at the KVI, a quick look at prospects for COSY.
- December 11, 2003 - a hypothetical ring design for IUCF.
- November 12-13, 2003 a discussion of polarimeter prospects, and physics, as a function of deuteron energy up to 2 GeV/c.
- September 12-13, 2003
first presentation of the "slow extraction" polarimeter, a gentle introduction to deuteron spin dependence, report on a Monte Carlo
of the polarimeter, including tensor polarization effects and the effective depolarization due to data binning.
- July 30-31, 2003
a first version of the deuteron polarimeter Monte Carlo simulation, with a first look at tensor effects and depolarization.
- May 9-10, 2003 list of
suggestions to consider for the selection of a site for the experiment.
