MiniBooNE IUCF Neutrino Group
Research Our group investigates the properties and interactions of neutrinos. In the course of this work, we teach students the art of experimental physics. Our current projects are: More info on these experiments can be found below.

Projects MiniBooNE:
MiniBooNE (Mini Booster Neutrino Experiment) is a neutrino oscillation experiment currently running at Fermilab. We have recently published first results on oscillations. We are also investigating neutrino interactions and have results for neutrino quasi-elastic scattering. SciBooNE
SciBooNE (Scibar Booster Neutrino Experiment) is neutrino interaction experiment that recently started running at Fermilab. scibath
Scibath is a detector development project with the goal of producing a precise, large volume, liquid scintillation, tracking detector to use for the study of neutrinos and neutrons. LENS
LENS is a proposed experiment to measure the low energy solar neutrino flux with an 115In-loaded liquid scintillator detector. It utilizes the unique signature of charged current neutrino capture on 115IN to provide spectroscopic information on the solar pp neutrino flux. A prototype (miniLENS) will be built to demonstrate the method. FINeSSE
FINeSSE (Fine-grained Intense Neutrino Scattering Scintillator Experiment) is an experiment in the proposal stage with the goal of measuring the strange spin of the nucleon and neutrino interactions. It utilizes the scibar detector for these measurements.
